Clinton's Ferraro problem
Remember Geraldine Ferraro? She unsuccessfully ran for vice president 24 years ago. She's now a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton. Here's what she told a CA newspaper last week:"If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."
O.k., let's break that down... white, wouldn't be in this position. Woman, wouldn't be in this position. So by process of elimination, Senator Obama is the first-place candidate for the U.S. democratic presidential nomination because he's a black guy. Really? Wow. There you have it folks - we are witnessing the most historic example of affirmative action in American history (bet he wishes he didn't waste all that time in Harvard Law School).
What is it they say again, about the company you keep?
