Sarah Palin - embarassment to Alaskans

From the Anchorage Daily News:

"Sarah Palin's reaction to the Legislature's Troopergate report is an embarrassment to Alaskans and the nation.

She claims the report "vindicates" her. She said that the investigation found "no unlawful or unethical activity on my part."

Her response is either astoundingly ignorant or downright Orwellian.

Page 8, Finding Number One of the report says: "I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act."

In plain English, she did something "unlawful." She broke the state ethics law..."(10.13.08)

The ACORN attack

You mess with the acorn, you get the oak tree. or something.

Since the latest shrill scream from the McPalin campaign is about Obama's alleged ties to ACORN (basically a low-income advocacy group - remember folks, more poor voters = bad for republicans), it's nice to see McCain here in 2006 saying that ACORN is part of what "makes America special:"

McCain lies like a rug

..and claims he hears hateful insults about him thrown around at Obama rallies - which we know is not true or we would be seeing it on Fox "news" 24/7.

Campaign threat level

It's not hard to guess at which level the McPalin campaign is operating..

The Palin Prophecy

"I think I will see Jesus come back to earth in my lifetime.” – Sarah Palin

Can we get Sean Hannity to confirm this in an interview? Maybe she could give us a more specific time table.

You might not get it when..

McCain vows to whip Obama!
ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - Republican John McCain vowed Sunday to "whip" Democratic rival Barack Obama's "you-know-what" when the two presidential candidates meet Wednesday in their final televised debate...." (AP News 10.12.08)

You might think that McCain, who is trailing in most of the polls, might want to avoid using a word like "whip" when referring to his opponent since he's of African-American descent. But then, who are you to question a maverick.
